Director of External Affairs
The Faraday Institute for Science and Religion has a new position available for a Director of External Affairs (50% FTE) to work with the Director and Research Director in fund raising and increasing the external profile of the Institute. This post will enable the Faraday Institute to be proactive in building links with the broader science and religion community in the UK, and internationally. The post-holder will also take responsibility for the fundraising aspects of the Faraday Institute’s work, particularly seeking to develop close links with potential donors who might provide significant and long-term funding.
The new Director of External Affairs will be a senior established academic or research leader with a strong record of raising funds and liaising with external organisations. The post-holder must be in full agreement with the ecumenical Christian ethos of the Institute and with its commitment to mainstream science.
The remuneration package for the Director of External Affairs will be commensurate with the seniority of the post and can be up to point 69 on the College's Salary Scale £69,561 (FTE). This is a fixed term appointment until 31 August 2018. The position is available immediately.
